Nowadays, there are many heated debates whether students should have part-time or full-time job or not. In my opinion they should be allowed to work. In the following paragraphs I will support my point of view and give some counterarguments.
Having part-time or full-time job after lessons has many benefits for students. First of all, they can cover their daily expenses and tuition fees themselves not depending on their parents. On the other hand, they can improve their practical skills that can be a good asset in their future career. Therefore, students should be given a chance to work during their studies.
Some people argue that working after classes interferes student from their main studies. They claim that instead of working students, should much focus on their university studies as the knowledge taken from the universities is crucial for their future.
However, today, only academic studies cannot warrant a perspective future for the students. In order to comply with the requirement of the employers, graduates are required to have some extra skills which can be acquired during their afterschool work experience. Furthermore, being financially independent teaches much about money. That is what why students should be allowed to work after classes.
Considering both sides of the issue, one can say that having after school job has to offer many benefits for students. Not going far from their studies, students should take the balance of both study and work simultaneously.
