Nowadays, a great deal of attention is being given to the development of sport. There are some people who support the idea that universities ought to spend the same amount of money on their students’ sports activities as they do on their libraries. As far as I am concerned it is a good way to make the universities famous and promote healthy lifestyle among their students.

To start with, thanks to good investment in their sport facilities, sport activities thrive and as a result, it captivates more perspective students.  Take my brother for example, who really considered availability of sport facilities before applying for a university. This example makes it clear that sport facilities play a crucial role as libraries. Considering benefits of sport activities for universities, they should be financed as equally as libraries.

Moreover, well-established sport activities urge students to follow healthy life style. They, for example, can have a chance to spend their time effectively after stressful classes, engaging in different sport activities organized by their host universities. In fact, sport gives students peace of mind, providing well-balanced life. Thus, universities put sport as important as libraries, making proportional contributions in both facilities.

To draw a conclusion, after considering sports role in the attractiveness of universities and students’ healthy lifestyle, once more I firmly believe that higher educational institutions should give the same emphasis on sport activities as their libraries while financing them. Thereafter, universities are recommended to consider not only educational aspects but also sport facilities as well.
