The graph indicates how people traveled to and from the UK over two decades from 1979 to 1999 with the bar chart providing information about the most well-known countries visited by Britons in 1999.

 Overall, it is clear that the figure for both visiting to and from the UK saw a marginal rise, though at varying rates, for the given period.

 Until about 1984, the number of UK residents going abroad showed a slow growth, accounting for 20 million, compared with 14 million in 1979. Of those oversea residents who visit to the UK, went up from 10 million in 1979 to 13% in 1984, rising further to 20 million in 1989. The number of UK residents going to the overseas more than doubled between 1985 and 1994 from 20 million to about 44 million. Likewise, the figure for oversea residents picked up to about 23million before increasing further for the rest of the given period. UK residents peaked at well over 50million in 1999.

 It is evident from the bar chart that about 2 million Britons visited to turkey , while some 3 and 4million went to Greece and USA. The most popular country was France, being visited by 11million Britons, 2million higher than Spain.
