The diagram below shows the life cycle of a salmon, from egg to adult fish.
The diagram illustrates how an enormous fish called salmon dwells in the water during the course of its life.
Overall, there are three places, which salmon live in the water, beginning with the upper river, and culminating in open sea. However, each of these stages takes place in various kinds of aquatic locations.
First, salmon commences to live in Upper River which is surrounded by small stones as well as reeds. After living around 5 and 6 months, salmon migrates to Lower River, where water flows fast. In that place, fry dedicates to live about 4 years, and the length of fish reaches approximately from 3 to 8 centimeters. After becoming 12- 15 centimeters, salmon is called “smolt”. Following that smolt moves to open sea, where it lives until being adult salmon. For Roughly 5 years, salmon lives in open sea. Afterwards, it goes back to Upper River then renews its life cycle again.
