The graph represented on task one provides data about the percentage of mobile phones sold by various companies over the world in the period of two separate years 2005 and 2006.
Overall, it is clear that while Nokia Company dominated among the list of given companies over the period, BenQ mobile company had the lowest proportion in mobile phone sales.
As it can be seen from the table, the most popular mobile phone company was Nokia, constituting 32.5% of the worldwide mobile phone sales in 2005 and 35% in 2006. Even though, Other companies showed higher percentage (19.2 %) in 2005 than Motorola which accounted for 17.7% at the same time, coming to 2006, the figure for Motorola went up to 21.1%, surpassing Other companies’ result which was 16.2%. Next Samsung came with its 12.7% in 2005 and 11.8% in 2006, a decline of about 0.9% in a year. Sony Ericsson, L.G. and BenQ Mobile are on the list as well, but accounted for a smaller share, 6.3%, 6.7% and 4.9% in 2005 and 7.4%, 6.3% and 2.4% in 2006 respectively.
