The table compares the global market share of notebook computer manufacturers for two consecutive years from 2006 to 2007.
It is clearly seen from the table, the leader of the market share was HP Company during the two years.
Between 2006 and 2007, the market share of HP Company increased slightly from 31.4% to 34%. The Second leader of the laptop market was Dell by showing 16.6% in 2006 and 20.2% in 2007. [1]Whereas, the percentages of Toshiba and Lenovo revealed almost the same results until 2007 (Toshiba 6.2%and 7.3%) (Lenovo 6.6% and 6.2%). There was a half decrease[2] in the market share of Fujitsu-Siemens from 4.8% in 2006 to 2.3% in 2007.Propotion of the other notebook companies were 22.8% in 2006 before dropping to 19.3% in 2007.
