The double line graph, combined with the pie chart giving an overview of some aspects of the electricity consumption, provides information about daily demand for electricity in England during summer and winter seasons.

    Generally, it is clear that there is a moderate increase and decrease, fluctuating to varying degrees, in the demand for electricity during two seasons.

    From the double line graph as it can be seen that the need for electricity in winter and summer oscillates until the half of the day, constituting well under 40.000 units and roughly 20.000 units respectively. For the following 12 hours, the trend in winter reaches its highest point at just under 50.000 before going down of about 35.000, twofold more than summer’s figure.

    According to the pie chart, the electricity used for heating rooms, heating water accounts for 52.5% and follows by ovens, kettles, washing machines, taking up 17.5%. Lighting, TV, radio and vacuum cleaners, food mixers, electric tools evenly contribute to the remaining 30%.
