The bar chart provides information about internet usage in Taiwan by different age profiles from 1998 to 2000.

     The first noticeable thing is that people between ages 16 and 30 years used the internet substantially more than other age groups. For the internet users who were 50 years old or more the pattern is reversed. The oldest age group represents a small increase in internet usage every year constituting 4% in 1998, 8% in 1999 and 10% in 2000.The yearly usage of internet by children under 15 years in Taiwan from 1998 until 2000 composed 2%, 8% and 9% respectively. The figures for 16-30 years people significantly declined from 53% in 1998 to 44% in 2000. People between ages 31 and 50 maintain approximately the same proportion of the internet usage each year showing around 40% for the same periods.

     In conclusion, It is evident that middle age people used  much more internet than young and old age ones (=other age groups).
