Describe an interesting historic place. What is it? Where it is located? And explain why this place is interesting?
Well I could start off by answering what this place is and I think I would have to choose Registan square which is located in Samarkand, one of the most famous cities of Uzbekistan. In fact, this place used to be the emperors’ palace for ages. Therefore, the square was the most eye-catching and magnificent place of all its time. Now with regard to the matter of what we can see there now and the point I want to make here is that most of the remains of these buildings still exist, making the site most attractive not only for locals but also for foreigners. If time permits, I would answer to the question of why this place is interesting and what I have to emphasize here is that every other year, one of the most profound international music festivals called Shark taronlari takes place in this area, showing off the beauty of Registan throughout the world.
