Modern  technologies   are certainly  something  which  are  often  discussed  in  today`s  world. Some  people   think  that  they   facilitate   anything   and  bring   too many   benefits    for  humankind. Others, however,  maintain  that   the  advent  of  advanced  technologies   makes  life   more   complicated  and  people   busier. In  the  following   paragraphs   it  would  be  addressed  in  detail  to   the   both   sides   of   this  issue.  

On the  one  hand, the   greatest   advantage  of  the newest   technologies   could   be   noticed  in     communication, transportation  and  healthcare   spheres. For  instance:  It  is  not   secret  that    over  the  years    transport  system   has   greatly  been enhanced  and  now people can reach   even    tens  of   thousands   of  miles      in only  several  hours   with  the  help  of  the   modern  technologies   that  were  implemented  in   transport  system. Moreover, these  days, only  a  handful  of    disasters   aren`t   feasible  to   treat  thanks    to  the   modern   medical    equipment.

On  the   other   hand, although   modern  technologies  bring   more  and  more   benefits,   it   cannot  be  denied   that   there   are   some   drawbacks    as well. One   typical   example  of it  is   that  they   are  mostly   responsible  for  too  many  global    problems   such  as degradation  of  crops, air  pollution, depletion  of    the amount  of  clean   water   and   so  forth. New  high technology has   pernicious   effects  on  the   environment    as   most  of    them  aren`t   eco-friendly.  Furthermore,  new   gadgets   that   have  frequent  access   to  the  internet   result  in  minimisation   of   cultural  diversity.

Taking  into   account   both   sides   of  the   issue, I  am  inclined   to    believe   that  advantages   of  modern   technologies   outweigh   disadvantages    and  If   people   use  them  in   the  right   way,   there  wouldn`t  be  any  problems.
